Tawanda was awarded as Top 10 CNN Heroes of 2013. The individual that I'm writing about is Tawanda Jones, her mission is to help and promote peace in Camden, New Jersey, which is known to be a rough neighborhood. She want's all students to receive equal and good education for those who live in that area. She wants to inspire students to graduate from high school and wants them to spread peace and to be leaders for others. Tawanda doesn't want children dodging bullets for their entire life. Tawanda believes that self-respect, dedication, and discipline are necessary things to survive in Camden, NJ. Only 49%!o(MISSING)f students that live in Camden only graduate from high school and that does not sit well with Ms. Jones, that's what motivates her to help the community.
