Day 11 - Burlington to White Mountain Nat Forest

This is the 11th day of our trip. We have travelled through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Ontario, Vermont, and New Hampshire, and driven about 1,460 miles.

This morning, we left Burlington, VT and drove by Shelburne Farms. Shelburne Farms was the winter retreat of the Webb/Vanderbilts. It is also still a working dairy farm.

From there, we made the 2-1/2 hour drive to White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. After a 5:30 storm blew through, the temperature dropped and we had steaks on the grill and wine at camp.....ok, I had a steak; Sheila had grilled vegetables..
