Day 10 - Lake Placid to Burlington,VT

This morning we visited the ski jump and bobsled facilities at Lake Placid. It definitely gives you an appreciation for the guts that those athletes have when you are out on the jumps and tracks.

From there, we headed to Burlington, Vermont. We crossed Lake Champlain on the ferry from Essex, NY to Charlotte, VT, and drove into Burlington. We stayed at a campground that is on Lake Champlain, and 2 miles from Burlington via bike path.

We took the bike path to town this evening and got caught in a brief rainstorm. Had a great time meeting the locals at the marina bar, and dinner off of Church St. in the row of restaurants in downtown Burlington.
