Waw, what a hole!

Five o’clock in the morning, eyes bloodshot and only half conscious, we trudged down to our bus for the four hour journey to the Grand Canyon, but boy was it more than worth it!

Who knew a hole in the earth could be so mind blowing??! The photos don’t do it justice. We stopped off at the hoover dam on the way too which was pretty impressive.



We couldn’t believe that there were no barriers, fences or even ropes between us and a 4,000 ft drop. Don’t worry family, we didn’t get too close but Annie was pushing her luck causing Scott to pull her back, knowing what a klutz she is!



It was surprisingly cooler out there in the desert than the Vegas Strip. We had a free meal with the trip and it was the best and healthiest meal we’ve had in the US so far! It was in a ranch with cowboys and tribe people where Annie rode one of the coal horses – they were huge!



Tired after the long journey back we lazily had some delis delivered to our luxurious, comfy room – proper Kevin in Home Alone 2 style.



We’re going to finish off seeing the hotels we haven’t had a chance to go in yet tomorrow and then watch shows in Treasure Island and Mirage hotels in the night.



After another very long day we’re ready for a decent night’s sleep before hitting the strip again in the morning.

Great piccies guys ! We did the helicopter over the damn but wish we did the bus like you did as you get to see and take in so much more. What an amazing place Hope Scott stayed off the beans on the ranch ! Xx

Your taking my advice !!!! Yea I bet ! Cardiff out of the carling cup or what ever its called now. Lost to northampton so who knows they actually may be taking the league seriously this season. It'll make a change
