Day 43-The Grand Canyon

We woke up full of excitement as this has been one of the trips we've been really looking forward to. We arrived at the airport and it all went down hill from there, to cut along story short it was 4hrs before we even took off, and then we only spent a total of an hour at the Grand Canyon itself. Despite all the annoyance the Canyon still managed to stun and the pictures shown don't do the Canyon justice. The journey back to the hotel was just as tedious and there was nothing else to do but grab a sandwich from the 24/7 and go straight to bed as we had to be up at 0400 the next day for the other long awaited trip to Death Valley.
