Today we had a four hour drive from Williams, AZ to Las Vegas, NV. Our Garmin RV GPS took us an unexpected route from highway 40 to 68 to163 to 95. This route took us right past Lake Mead which looked very beautiful and than through a lot of driving on 6% grade roads which was not the most fun with the travel trailer, but not too bad. I suppose it was a good practice for the mountain driving to come. We decided to stay at Duck Creek RV Resort ($20/night with passport) until after the Holiday, checking out on July 5th. The resort is much like a large parking lot, but does offer Wi-Fi, pool, hot tub, DVD rental and is close to everything but still in a safe area. On the 4th they had a pizza lunch at the club house which was a great way to cool off and enjoy some delicious Pizza Hut pizza.
