Greenwood, Neb. To Cheyenne,Mo
After a pleasant and quiet night we renewed our travels down I 80 on a cloudy and cooler Sunday. Light traffic and only light mist made for a pleasant travel day. We did note the high water of the South Platte River in all its manifestations and fields, ditches and lakes full of water. Some farms were flooded and the crops didn't look good. I forgot on yesterday's blog to mention that we noted Ken Gray Parkway in Missouri, in honor of we don't know who but maybe named for our Florida friend. In Cheyenne we returned to a military Fam Camp we visited once before at F. E. Warren AFB. One has to be careful navigating the base to avoid a 12'4” train trestle but the campground is quiet and secure. Tomorrow we start north toward Montana.
