so, on my laptop, xanga's commands are still all in chinese. it's a bit strange. since my isp is obviously in missouri now.

so i'm sitting in panera bread using lovely wireless. i WENT to el starbuckso but GUESS WHAT? THEY DIDN'T HAVE WIRELESS! how in the hell can starbucks NOT have wireless? it defies the entire purpose... besides the coffee, that is. in fact, i think i'm going to see if i can like leave a comment or suggestion on the website regarding this issue. because believe me, IT IS an issue!

okay, so i just did the customer service thing at starbucks.com.

being back at the lake is so disconcerting. i keep seeing people i know. or at least people i recognize. might have gone to school with them? maybe they're someone's parents? but i find myself diving behind gatorade displays and into men's underwear sections just to avoid them. to avoid the fake smile, "heeeey! how ARE you? what're you up to these days? didn't you go to ?"

i hate these superficial interactions. with a passion. thus, i throw myself behind poles, look totally interested in the menu, pretend i'm buying socks/lingerie/watermelon, and look straight ahead while driving. or, like right now, look totally engrossed in my important life on my laptop because someone i graduated with is walking this way... there she is, she's looking at me, she passed by. thank god. because i have no idea what her name is.

i'm having some minor issues adjusting.
