Today was an absolutely beautiful day. Not too warm. A little breezy. Great for walking.

The Neumans actually do geocaching and have a good GPS, so our first adventure was to find the park's geocache. They had a brochure and Sam had prepared, so we headed off for a walk along the Maple-Basswood Interpretive Trail to follow the clues. It worked well and the boys had fun, but it wasn't the critter cache that we had been looking for. Our boys were worn out, so after finding the first clue for the critter cache, we all went back for lunch.

That afternoon, I decided to head off for a trip along the Forestry and Prairie Pothole Trails. Really, the weather was perfect. I wished I had our better camera, though, because a couple birds kept flying around me and I would've liked better pictures. When I got back, Cole still wasn't up for another walk (nor was I, really), so we stayed at our campsite while everyone else went off to find the critter cache.

In total, we walked 6-7 miles today, pretty impressive for all of us, but especially 2-year-old Cole (who did at least 3 of
