The individual that I am doing my travel blog on is a lady that has been through Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking is when women sell their bodies to men for money. Her name is Vednita Carter. She was once in Human Trafficking. She was helped when she was 13. She wanted to make a change by stopping what had happened to her. In 1996, she has helped more than 6,000 women escape from "The Life". The life was what they called Human Trafficking because the did it everyday. They would meet in certain places and the men would come and tell them what they want and the women would go in the back of the store. She built an army of survivors that were able to end human trafficking. At 18, she was trying to make money, so she can go college. She had men arrested for solicitation. She is 60 years and she is still fighting to help end human trafficking.
