6/23/13 - St Ignace - Tahquamenon Falls

6/23/13 - Today we took a road trip to Tahquamenon Falls. About a 140 mile round trip. Along the way we went by Castle Rock - in the pics.

Also, along the way; Dakota, Briar, and Aleta took a wade in Lake Superior.

The falls were very pretty. The lower viewing area had 94 steps, one way; to get to the edge of the falls. I hope the pics do it justice. We did go to both the upper and lower falls. Approx 4 miles apart. The lower falls is actually 5 different falls scattered across an area where the river breaks almost into a delta shape.

Traveled back to Tiki Rv Park.
