A few weeks ago I visited my hometown. I got off the plane in Detroit and waited for my dad to come pick me up. While I was standing there I noticed how green everything was. Which, to me, now seemed dirty. I've gotten so used to seeing mountains all around me and palm trees lining the streets that home just looked like a lush industrial green.
