If you have been to a beach in India, beaches here are nothing compared to what we have there. Yet, beaches are special here, because we can enjoy the waters only for three- four months in a year.

Our initial plan was to go to Gloucester Beach, but since we didn’t find parking, we drover further along the highway and reached Rockport. Rockport has three or more beaches and we went to one called “front beach". This beach is at a walk-able distance from the Rockport town. Parking is limited near the main town, but the good thing is that the Rockport town provides free parking a little away from the town and also provides shuttle service from the parking lot to the beach.

The beach is nice and clean, although a little small compared to the ones we see in India, especially our erstwhile Marina beach. On a warm summer afternoon, it can get crowded and you’ll hardly have place to walk. But, all said and done, this place is lovely with the Atlantic offering its best sight!
