A knight
The horse that Ron used in chess. Today, Dean, myself, and my niece Ashley went to the Boston Science Museum. D and I haven't been there in years. Ashley has never been there, until today that is. Anyway, I asked Ashley if she wanted to go with me because they are having a Harry Potter exhibit. While Ashley and I were in the exhibit, Dean waited for us in the lobby - he doesn't care for Harry Potter. It took us about 40 minutes to go through.
I wasn't allowed to take photos inside the Harry Potter display and even though I'm famous for taking photos in places where I'm not suppose to, I didn't do it in here. When you first enter the exhibit, you and the whole group your with stop in a foyer where a Brit in Hogwart robes introduces himself and the sorting hat. He asked for a couple of volunteers to have the hat placed upon their head. He asked first what house they would want to be in, then he placed the hat over their head, whereupon the sorting hat told they just what they wanted to hear. I can only conclude that he had pressed a button to match up with

These were hanging outside the cafe. their house choice.
After that you go through a door to "view" a montage of all the movies. When that 5 minute preview is up, the curtain opens and and you enter the exhibit. We saw clothes for almost all main characters in most of the movies. Harry & Ron's beds were there, along with their trunks and a few other odds and ends.
Wands, books, and Quiddich trunk.
Potions, mandrake plants that screeched, and the Marauder's Map.
A replica of Professor Umbridge's office was there. Along with the quill, desk, and the paper with the famous words, "I must not tell lies", they had 2 columns of the cat plates on the wall. They had the Wizard's Tricup there. I was amazed at all the details that go into an object that is in a movie. There was a small sampling of the Weasly's goods in their store.
Of course, after you go through the exhibit, you're lead out to a special gift shop just for Harry Potter. In there you could buy magnets, shirts, cards, and just about anything else you can imagine. There were replicas of many different wands. These were $44.99 each. Another $20 if you
K & D
We're here in the space section of the museum. wanted a display stand.
After we went through this, we spent the next 4 hours or so viewing the rest of the museum. They had information on the senses, space, math, models, and anything else you would expect to see a a science museum. There was also a Naboo fighter from a Star Wars film hanging down from the ceiling. You can see R2D2 in the back of the fighter. I've uploaded the photo for you to enjoy.
We enjoyed our day. If you're ever in the area, I do recommend you visit the museum.
Happy travels.
