Navy Week & beer!
My buds & me trying out a beer from Ecuador during Navy Week in NOLA So I am going to give a brief write up just to try and get the hang of this.
My bud's & their wives decided the weather had kept us long enough for the weekend so off to New Orleans, hence forth will be known as NOLA, to visit the ships in port for Navy week.
Even though it was a bit windy on the river the weather was absolutely perfect for a day in the city. We were able to visit (2) of the tall ships in port as well as two frigates from Canada & the UK.
The tall ships were very, interesting and both crews were very friendly and helpful. We even got to try a couple kinds of beers from Ecuador they were pretty good!
After touring these different ships we took the Red Street Car down to the French Market where we picked us up daiquiris with ice cream in them…YUM!
We then made our way back up to Jackson Squire. We stopped at so many shops to look for of all things..silly hats!
We, the fellas, were informed we have to wear silly hats for our trip to Key
Navy Week
With Ralph and Tony at Navy Week_1 West. Not just in Key West but on the flight over!
Well I guess you guys will get pictures when that happens!
Anyway it was an awesome one day trip and a good way for me to get used to this site.
Until next time…which will be soon!
