Driving day, early start at 7:30 AM. Traffic was light in the morning but picked up the last 2 hours. We listened to and watched the GBC service while traveling down I-10. Alabama 9:30A saw USS Alabama in Mobile harbor. Mississippi 11:00A; drove through Biloxi, the city where our adventure together began in 1964. Entered Louisiana at 12:10P. Three states in 4 hours but we think Texas will take a little longer. lol Just a stopover here in Hammond, LA on the north shore on Lake Pontchartrain and off to Beaumont, Texas in the morning. Now, where was I? Hello all! Now as you may recall my last update was about a month and a half ago...but sadly I haven't died! No, instead I'm very much alive, tearing up the United States as my world tour continues in North America, and I update now from comfy quarters in my great-Aunt Avril's house in the South of the Country - the home of SoCo and Southern Hospitality, Louisiana. Now when you left me I was in Auckland, still with Mr Andrew Richards, enjoying the last few days of our time together. By this time Katrina had already hit the coast and seeing the writing on the wall as to how scarse housing was going to be I got a loan from my mom and purchased a 1992 Four Winds 29ft Class C RV. My mom and I then drove it to Louisiana, well actually Alabama, as I had to go through orientation with the company before they would let me work for them. While in Alabama, I met a co-worker from Texas who would become my next door neighbor for the next 7 months. We drove back to Louisiana and found some land to park the RV.
