well this morning i got up at 5 am...jsut so this little snot could get down ehre first to make sure i wasnt the girl who had to sleep in the living room. now i dont wanna bitch..oh who am i kidding..seriously tho..we all pay 600 bucks for this field school.....i dont think its fair to not have a bedroom...but i digress...
this place is nice...and after a 4 hour drive on my own..whihc was really scary....i got down here just fine and hauled all my stuff up to our seconf floor apartment..i didnt think it wpuld be this nice but it is...so im all in my bedroom.....and have dinner made.
evansville indiana seems liek az really nice town and the apartments are only a short way from angle mounds. i am glad they have a carpool tot take us to 'work' every morning..cuz i am out of fuel and money...so theres that.
there is only internet in the club house..but its just across the street from me..so its not a walk to use..and this place is sweet! pics soon i promise.
we have a pool..which is really nice, and the third floor of the clubhouse has a full workout room.....so how cool is that? we are suposed to have cable in th apartment..but its not working, thankfully i am not afraid to ask about stuff..so its getting fixed...hopefully tomorrow..so at least we will have tv..and i got my books...so i am set. theres a ncie bowling alley that takes our student discount down the street as well that my friend jasmine told me about. she was here last year and is back doing some senior research project, cheap beer and a cheap night of fun with the other archaeologists! how cool!
nice supermarkets, but most important, there is an international market here. i am set. so honestly i am so dang tired, ready for a nap but too keyed up to sleep, so its off to watch captain america on my computer and have kebabs with jasmine and her roomies ( who is also in anthro and is here for the field school this summer).
i am sure im gona be worked to death this next 6 weeks, ah well, i needed to tone up anyway. yee haw!
