Egypt's current political structure is a republican government. Egypt's government is somewhat similar to countries around it, such as Syria. In a republican government, the people have say on the government. Republic government is not too different from democratic government. Democratic governments are known to have more say than republic countries like Egypt because countries call themselves republic but don't abide by a republican government's norms.

The current president of Egypt is Adly Mansour with the prime minister, Hazem El-Belbawi. The president has a lot of power and the prime minister has some too. Since Egypt doesn't have a monarchy government, they have more freedom and choice. The president gives the people choices, say, and doesn't run Egypt like he is the dictator. Although Egypt doesn't have the best government, in my opinion, the leaders don't seem to take advantage of this and betray their people.
