Well, here it is. I'm packed except for my computer. I've got my boarding pass and travel documents. Everything's charged and I've called Bank of America so they don't hold my accounts. I'm surprisingly unstressed. But I am a little hungry. See you kids on the other side!

I am a Classics major and I am spending 6 weeks at an archaeological dig in San Gemini, Italy, specifically at the bath complex at the site of Carsulae, a Roman town on the Via Flaminia in the foothills of the Apennines. I don't know anyone there or what I'm doing. We'll see how well this goes.... full info
