1. This takes place in Iowa and in a prison in Minnesota.

2. The people involved are a man sentanced to 6 years in jail and his wife.

3. The human right being violated is no torture, and no unfair detainment.

4. My thoughts on the issue are shocked. I did not know that there is a compassionate release, so i learned something new. I feel shocked that the government would just leave people to die. They take their time with all the trials and paper work knowing that the prisoner is dying. I feel like that is basically the same as a death sentence. There should be a much faster process in which trials go through much quicker.
