Do you think a government should be responsible for abiding by the commitments that its predecessors made?

I think that a government should be responsible for abiding by the commitment that its predecessors made. They should be able to keep up with the promisses they made. If they could not do theire part of the treaty, why should the other team be so loyal ot them? When someone makes fake promisses it only looks bad on them. They should of thought of the outcome when they decided to say what they did. Just because they government runs our counrty it does not mean it should not forget about the commitments they had say they were going to do. Even if they have alot of problems already , a promise is a promise. If they are not commited then people are going to start talking bad about them. Leading a bad reputation on the line. They want to be known as helpful. That's not going to happen if they dont take theire own word for it.
