1. Pirates today are nothing like the ones you would usually think of. They aren’t the people with eye patches and one leg carrying parrots with them. They have adapted to the modern world. Today, pirates take hostages and ask for ransoms, just steal form ships.

2. Today, a group called Maritime Police Force was created to defeat the pirates in populated trade routes. This included highly trained mercenaries and millions of dollars in secret payments. They were created to fight against pirates.

3. No, piracy will never be justifiable because it is unfair to those being robed. There is nothing right about engaging in piracy acts, even back then. Some times, piracy involves killing and this is never justifiable.
