1) This Article was about the Mexican ritual the day of the dead. It talked about how this ritual was started by the Native Americans, and how every one, even to this day, still celebrate it. The Day of the Dead is when you honor your deceased ones, but you do not view this as a negative. You instead, view this day as a positive.
2) I don't really care for the Day of the Dead, because, to me, I do not view death as a positive thing. Once you lose your loved once, that's just the end of that. I don't really view death as a positive thing. Furthermore, I will honor only by going to the funeral, but not by throwing some big celebration. 3) This connects to class because we are learning about the Native Americans and the Aztecs and how each one differed in society back then. This helps us look at more of the Native American cultures and what life was like for them back then. Moreover, this can help us conclude why there was a rivalry between them and the Aztecs.
