1. The article Indigenous people wouldn't let 'Day of the dead' die is about the day of the dead being cvelebrated and why is it celebrated. How skulld are presented to represent the dead. Mexico encountered natives practicing a ritual that seemed to mock death.

2. My reaction to this article is very surprising of the person on the forehead, are eaten by a relative of friend. This part kind of made me puke a little because they are eating human flesh because it is part of what they celebrating every nevember.

3. This connects to class because The day of the dead means to rebirth, and the renaissance meaning is rebirth. It also talks about the themes of 1 of the spices, which is culture.
