1. A ritual, also known as the Day of the Dead, is introduced in this article which natives practice more than 500 years ago. The history behind this tradition is that the natives believed that death was a continuation of life. They embraced death because to them, life was a dream and only in death did they become truly awake. Today, Day of the Death is celebrated in Maxico, U.S., and Central America. No matter where you travel, they are celebrated differently in each area. They would decorate gravesites, bring toys to dead children, dance, and any way to honor the dead.

2. My reaction to this was actually pleasantly satisfied and blessed for the dead. I never knew anyone so dedicated to the dead. I think it's a generous and thoughtful thing to do.

3. This connects to class because it relates to religion that started this holiday/tradition. The natives thought death was a way of bieng truly awake and the Spaniards viewed death as the end of life.
