1.Modern slavery is different than historical slavery, because modernslavery consists of human trafficking. Slavery years ago didn't only involve sex. Slavery years ago involved labor for the most part with a slave owner who would make a slave his mistress. People were rarely sold for only sex.

2. This movement connects with Lincolns movement, because Lincoln made an attempt to abolish slavery. His attempt later led to the 13th amendment.

3.The Polaris Project is an innovative international collaboration among students, teachers, and scientists. Funded by the National Science Foundation since 2008, the Polaris Project trains future leaders in arctic research and informs the public about the Arctic and global climate change.

4. Yes, I agree with this article. Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery, because it taking people against their will selling them.
