So as soon as Winter Break began, my boyfriend and I took a few days and went to his hometown of Lafayette, IN and the Windy City itself.

I had a lovely time (despite the ridiculously cold temperatures). We were only there for one night and we spent it at Second City and several places close to the hotel (zoo, navy pier, skating rink but didn't skate, starbucks, borders LOL).
