There was a lot of driving today, and only one stop, which was Three Island Crossing. There was a fantastic museum and interesting drives and hikes. A day well spent!

Three Island Crossing was a big deal on the Oregon Trail.

The Pioneers left quite a few wagon parts behind, when they had breakdowns.

I compare what we have in the car for one month to the space in this wagon for the rest of your life...

There was a lot of information in the Visitor Center and museum about the point of view of the Native Americans

As well as the point of view of the Pioneers

And how the two cultures interacted. It was very well done!

We ended the day at the Geiser Grand Hotel; almost home!
