Hawaii was absolutely beautiful: fresh air, clean beaches, wonderful US conveniences, and of course, my Dad!! It was like heaven on earth after 6 months in China. We spent part of every day at the beach, looked out over the ocean from the wonderful hotel room, ate delicious food everyday, and did a little shopping. Dad and I had a wonderful time hanging out. It was so ridiculously hard to leave.
