The sun is back and very very warm. Time to sweat all that corona out from night before. Ankle getting better and feeling ready for the 5km hike at Iao Valley (needle state park)
Called off at some Korean (could be thai) park and that stands at the foot of the needle state park (see pics).
The trail was pretty steep, muddy and slippery, very slippy in places so people were falling all the time. All this made it a much more exciting funny experience. Who wants it to be easy. If i wanted easy id hike in the pennines. It was so so humid in the valley during the hike and was soon sweating and P wet through. Good Hangover cure lol. There were lots of wild fruits and berries, coffee beans along the way which we picked and tried. The views and scenery were beautiful. On the way back down there was a really steep section where everyone (nearly fell) and ended up bum skidding to the bottom and got cover in mud. Great stuff and very funny...took me back to my child hood.
At the end of the
hike we got to chill out and swim in a fresh water stream (see pics). The water was freezing but very very refresing....just what you need after a hot long..ish walk.
Went for a sub in the afternoon with Inga, Christina and Emma. Its good having 3 girls fight over you lol....I wish hehehe.
Cant exactly remember what I did that night / evening. I can confidently assume it was simply chilling out at the bungalow with so so many cool freindly people... Maybe 1 or 2 card games were thrown in for good measure.
