Only one more day until we leave! Some quick hits from yesterday: WRAS FM is the Georgia State University student radio station. They broadcast at 100,000 watts, which is an enormous signal. The station is commercial-free, and they play great music. Today I listened in on a live set from The Willows. S.T.O.P. is Douglasville's answer to Kinkos. It's an independent copy shop somewhat in the spirit of Gnomen Copy in State College, PA, but only somewhat. Don't ask me how to pronounce S.T.O.P. -- is it "stop" or perhaps "ess tee ooh pee"? I'd put this question in the same category as how to pronounce ESRI, "ezz ree", "eee ess arr eye". Just a quick posting tonight. I spent a lot of today adding our cds to our itunes music library and uploading them to my ipod. Yes, I sprung for one at Best Buy, and it's pretty cool. We borrowed a bunch of cds from Sherry's friend Nicky, including, yes, an EP by the infamous 'The Mr. Move', one of our celeb sightings in the . So, at least we'll have some upbeat, feel-good music to share with locals and other travelers when we circle the globe. I found a web link for those that want to learn more about Reggie C.
