Arrival at Miromar Lakes

After breakfast at our hotel we were unable to find Jim's prescription sunglasses but asked the hotel to watch for them. We then had Uber pick us up (we love Uber!) and take us to Hertz car rental. It took forever to get our reserved car rental. We drove the Everglades Parkway to the West Coast of Florida. Not very scenic as Florida is flat nd swampy!
We arrived at our lovely exchange home which had a nice pool area. After getting settled in we headed out for a late lunch and to pick up a few groceries. Upon our return we realized we were locked out. Fortunately, once we talked to the owners in Kansas that was resolved. We spent the rest of the day by the pool.
