We had a good sleep anchored in Steinhatchee River after our rough ride on the Gulf. The Captain has sore wrists from all the steering he did but the first mate is a little tired but fine.
Our dinghy, the only casualty, turns out to be just fine. We rein flatbed the tube and all is good.
We spent the day cleaning up the salt off the windows and securing loose items. Went for a nice dinghy ride along the river, it goes on fir miles. Lots of interesting dwellings and fishing boats. Not a lot of restaurants and bars as expected, it actually was quiet, not a lot of action.
The boat is fuelled up, we had a nice shower at Sea Hag Marina so we are all set to go tomorrow. we need a 9 hour window again to reach Crystal River, the second keg of the Gulf crossing.
Hope the forecast is correct.
