Day 1
We drove and arrived in Atlanta. We ate at Fuddruckers. It was awesome.
Day 2
We drove to Cedar Keys. Feels like a remote city similar to Wasaga Beach. The location is beautiful and we found a hotel that is beautiful for only 55$ Very spacious suite. We also grabbed a golf cart to drive around the area in. We are now getting prepared for a morning offshore fishing excursion.
Day 3
Woke up and went fishing. We caught 10 speckle trout. It was cool to go fishing in a ft of water. We then left and had lunch at Tony’s. They have won the world chowder competition 3 years running. They were conducted into the chowder hall of fame. We then drove to Lando Lakes and hung out with my Aunt.
Day 4
We went to the sponge docks and saw the Greek village by Tarpon Springs. We visited the shops and checked out sponge capital of the world. We then ate gyros within the village. After checking out some antiques we visited my Aunt Rita. It was an amazing visit. We had the largest bonfire I have witnessed and hung
out with my cousins and the local cattle.
Day 5
After waking up from the late night we started our drive to Naples, where we are staying for the next week. We had a great dinner, and will be enjoying a great week.
Day 6
The day was relaxing. We made phone calls to plan for our trip. We went to the old city of Naples, where we shopped, looked around and visited the beach. We later went swimming at our condo and stayed in and enjoyed our Christmas.
Day 7
Lucas and I went to diving today. We saw some wrecks and sponge and reefs. We saw some large sponge and shells. We also saw neat fish and a 400lb grouper fish. After diving we went outlet shopping and then saw the sunset at the pier in Naples. After that we went to Tin City which was some neat boutiques by the docks. We later ate Mexican and went back to our condo for some Monday night Football.
Day 8
After relaxing at the pool and gym we spent the day at outlet malls. We watched purchased some great items and
went to dinner before going back to the hotel to relax.
Day 9
We woke up early to go searching for sea shells. We found beautiful ones that my mom wanted to keep but couldn’t as they were inhabited by little crabs or crawfish. After searching for seashells with my family we went to pick up Gielyn from Fort Lauderdale. We then watched the sun set and looked at a car dealership which held Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin, Range Rover, and some I can’t remember. We then went to a Japanese Sushi restaurant where they also cooked in front of you. We went back to the condo and hit the hot tub before bed. It was a Great day.
Day 10
When we woke up we left for a tour of the everglade. We went on the fan boats, and saw the everglades. It contained many vegetation, birds, cat fish and alligators. We then went for a snack where we had some fried gator. We went back to the condo we relaxed and cooked our steak dinner at our BBQ. We then enjoyed our evening in our condo.
Day 11
After eating
a great breakfast and sleeping in, we soon enjoyed the downtown. We were checked out the old cats again, and then had gelato while checking out more exhibits. We then went to the beach and buried ourselves in the sand. We picked up some Jamaican jerk food and brought it home for dinner. We had an early night in preparation for our long drive to Key West.
Day 12
We woke up early and drove to Key West. We were able to spend much of the day here. We ate sandwiches on the beach. Then we ate key lime pie before spending the afternoon on the beach. We played in the water and tossed a Frisbee. We drove a golf cart all over the city. Checked out many shops on Duval St. We then ate at the amazing Brazilian restaurant. The food was endless and delicious. We went to the down town district to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the gay district. We partied hard, while watching the drag queen sushi drop in front of CNN news. It was a great new years eve.
Day 13
For breakfast we woke up and went to a Cuban
restaurant that my dad had been to 35 years ago. The food was impeccable. We then dove and saw amazing fish crabs coral and reefs. The dive we rushed to the pier for the sunset and we watched the buskers. A few memorable buskers included a couple men who could eat fire and get out of strait jackets. However, the best was the dog that would come up to you and take the money and bring it back to his owner and put it in his pail. It was so cute. We checked out some live music in the streets and looked at more shops. We then had our last meal in Florida on the docks underneath a bunch of tents at a tiki like bar. The band that was playing writes music for many famous country artists. The day was great. Now we are just watching the game and hoping the Giants beat the Cowboys.
Day 14
Not much to report today. We woke up and drove 11 hours. Nice dinner and motel in the town of St. George South Carolina.
Day 15
Today is a similar day to yesterday. We woke up,
we drove, and we arrived to Pittsburgh. We scoped out a few places to visit tomorrow. We then ate at Fat heads. I enjoyed the #5 best sandwiches in America. It was filled with pirogues and kielbasa. We then went to see Tin Tin.
Day 16
We went to the strip. We saw many street venders and shops in Pittsburgh. We then went to an art exhibit. It was really neat modern art. The art was entire rooms made up to an artist’s vision. We ate a famous Primanti Bros sandwich and then left for home.
