Edit Blog Post

Okay, so I actually forgot all about the blog last week. I thought i'd done one for some reason and then realised it'd been two weeks... Time seems to be flying and I can't get it to slow down!

So, what have I done these last few weeks?

Well last saturday Will thought it might be interesting to take me to my first "hardcore" show, the type where he'll go off and run around in the pit to loud angry music, and i'll sit back and watch. The band that was playing was called "After the Burial" and despite the lack of actual SINGING- it was pretty good live. I got a good seat right under the air conditioner and had a clear view of the pit- and a clear view of Will climbing over everyone in the front row to get to the stage, subsequently so he could jump back off and into the crowd. He succeeded, but because the majority of the crowd were skinny young scene-wannabe's, they crumpled underneath him so he just hit the ground- and hard. There was much complaining the next day =P

By sunday, we were stuffed and sore from the night before so we just decided to lay around all day (no surprise there) but planned to go to the Drive-In movie theatre to see "the Last Exorcism" which was awesome fun. We packed the car with pillows and blankets (not that they were needed... it was quite warm anyway), filled up on snacks and coffee, tuned the radio and watched the movie. All in all, the movie was not what i'd expected- nothing like paranormal activity apart from the documentary style filming but it was worth seeing.

Monday we decided to go to the beach, it was a BEAUTIFUL day and the water was so still and warm- it was like a spa just resting in the shallow areas and soaking in the sun. I got burned of course, because I didn't put sunscreen on my back- but for comparison's sake: had I been out in the sun that long in Australia not wearing sunscreen, I would have been rushed to the hospital with sun stroke and 2nd degree burns -.- It's gone a nice tan colour now which is quite nice =D
Later that night Will took me to "Coldstone Icecream" and we both got "Oreo cream filling icecream" with chocolate chips or mnm's mixed in. SOSOSOSO good but SOSOOSOS SICKENING!! It was straight to bed after that seeing as we both had a raging case of the "itis" and needed to sleep.

Wednesday night was the baseball game, Rays vs the New York Yankees- It was a crucial game in this baseball season as it decided which team (Rays or Yankees) would be in place #1- and of course the Rays won. It was an EPIC game- so worth the $20 per ticket for seats. Yep- i'm a baseball fan. I even have a little girly crush on one of the players -Sean Rodriguez- research him and tell me what you think =P

Thursday was a lovely day- another rager at Sam and Ange's that left us both feeling quite tired come friday morning, an excuse to lie around all day and do absolutely NOTHING.

Saturday started slowly but ended SO well- Will had to go to work and I decided to stay at home this time, having had a late night the night before and wanting to sleep in. It was off to the gym as soon as he got back and then off to see Andrew Jackson Jihad with Sam and Ange later that night. I'd never heard of this guy, but he sounds like the mountain goats (almost down to a T), it was BYOB and they didn't check ID's. SCORE. On the way home, we stopped at IHOP (International House of Pancakes) and stuffed out faces, drove home and went straight to sleep.

Today has consequently been a nothing day, we did about an hour and a half of flyering and decided to come home and rest for the rest of the day, leaving me at this point right now.

Love to home <3
