At the wheel
We have stayed in touch with the Johnson's since buying the boat. We have told Martin of upgrades, sent him numerous emails, calls and visits. A lot of cruisers ask us why the name Paper Moon. Martin tell us that when he and his 1st wife were dating and he was in college, he was a bartender. Didn't get much time to dance...work and tips come 1st. But after they closed, he always had time to dance one or more songs with his then girl friend. Paper Moon was one of their favorite songs, so therefor the name.
It's Only A Paper Moon
Ella Fitzgerald

Say, it's only a paper moon,
Sailing over a cardboard sea,
But it wouldn't be make believe,
If you believed in me.

Yes, it's only a canvas sky,
Hanging over a muslin tree,
But it wouldn't be make believe,
If you believed in me.

(chorus)
Without your love,
It's a honky tonk parade,
Without your love,
It's a melody played,
At a penny arcade.

It's a Barnum and Bailey world,
Just as phony,
As it can be,
But it wouldn't be make believe,
If you believed in me.

(repeat chorus &
