We're wondering if the name of the street has something to do with how much is worth all the merchandise of the 250 boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops...
For those interested in architecture / city planner, as Andressa: Henry Flager, pioneer developer of South Florida created Palm Beach to be a winter playground for the rich at the end of the 19th century. In the 1920’s, the architect Addisom Mizner came to Palm Beach to convalesce after an accident and soon started to design houses. By adapting the design of old Spanish buildings to the american environment, he gave the resort a further boost and created a new style of architecture. Mizner became multimilionaire, but the crash in 1929 hit him heavily, letting him unable to pay his bills at the end of his life.
