Final Destination...Disneyland!

Hello all and sorry for the delay in communications! So our final stop Florida and a stop characterised by substantial food, drink and more food! We were met by my sister and overwhelmingly grateful for her clean, lovely house, washing machine and clean sheets...agh the simple pleasures!! We had a great time catching up with family news getting to know our beautiful niece better and of course exploring he various food options of the states, highlights include the ale house full of chicken zingers and many, many beers and enourmous chinese take aways all washed down with my sisters emormous cocktails! Can't remember much more after a few of those but know it was good at the time! Continuing along the theme we went ona wine tasting session and got to sample some of Florida's best wines...we then quickly made an exit before actually having to purchase anything! One of our highlights was our trip to Disneyland where we ran around the parks in a crazed manor in order to get first in the line at some of the best rollercoasters in the world I'm ashamed to say small children were pushed out of the way in our efforts to get intimate with Mickey! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and were blown away by how good the rides are, mission space been our favourite where you board a rocket launch ride and feel the g force pull your head back, great fun! The weather was avery sweltering 105 degrees when we were there and it was great to end our trip in the sunshine. Can't begin to convey our horror as the Virgin Atlantic check in girl pulled off our last ticket, definately a very sobering moment!! And the big news is of course we are back int he Uk and trying to get back to reality...that'll be the rain then. We don't beleve a word any of you said about the heatwave, we've seen nothing but rain! We are looking forward to catching up with you all, thank you for joining us on our adventure, it really has been an amazing trip of a lifetime! Lots of love Nic and Kyle, home again x x x x
