Welcome to Miami

Arrived in Miami early this morning after a 5hr flight from Las Vegas. Our first American Airline flight and so far not impressed at all, especially after being spoilt by Cathay and Qantas, as well, at least we only have short haul flights with them!

We are staying a few blocks away from the beach. Our hostel is not what we expected, we are considering moving, but everything is such a hassle over here without a car. It took us 2 hours today to make it from the airport to the hostel on the bus!

But we have already seen some of the day life in Miami, we popped into Nikki's beach, on the beach to have look at a daytime party. It is a house weekender at Nikki's and it was like a scene out of the movies, beautiful people in very little clothing raving it on down in the baking sun! Our first taste of Miami! We have just managed to find a reasonable internet cafe after paying $1 for 5 mins at the hostel- not impressed! A few days left here and then we head of to Cancun, which we still haven't sorted out btw!
