Well, we finally left Stuart, Florida Thursday (January 27th) after a false “start” on Sunday. We met some very nice people who are headed in the same direction we are, Jesse & Ginny on Wind Dust and decided we would travel together (we call this buddy boating). The plan was to leave on Sunday AM but we both woke up to very cold weather and not so pleasant winds. We all decided it didn’t sou... Read Full Entry

Here is an example of one of the little places still left in place on the ICW, however, we noticed that many were being sold and mega-mansions were being put in their place. It was nice to see that some of the quaint little places still remain.

We always hate to see signs of a sunken boat such as this one that we saw on our trip down the ICW.

We had a delicious Cuban meal at the Café Versailles. When we came out we saw that there was a café where gentlemen gathered for coffee and socializing at the take out café.

thinking
We enjoy your blog entries and think of you both often. You are 'missing' quite the weather and winter of 2011! It must be so wonderful to be in shorts all day and on the water as well. Have always yearned to swim year round, maybe someday, when we retire! The spring production is Cinderella on a huge new stage, with 16 ft tall platforms instead of 8! Take Care Kate and Gary Hunt
