Today was Raul Yzaguirre's birthday. A special private reception was held in his honor. Happy Birthday Raul! I was able to get us an invite. At the reception, I had the opportunity to meet Doroles Huerta, a long-time civil rights leader and right hand of Cesar Chavez. What an incredible honor to be able to sit down and talk with her.

Tonight NCLR also hosted a Noche de Concierto where a Mariachi group, Fanny Lu, and Luis Fonsi performed. The concert was held at the Knight's Performing Arts Center. Thanks to Harrahs Casinos for providing us with VIP access for the evening!
