Here we are already in mid January. The Holidays went very well for us. We attended Midnight mass and were privileged to have a beautiful concert prior to the mass itself. On Christmas Day, we were invited by loopers, Bill and Phyllis Haan at their very nice residence on a canal in Bradenton, close to Sarasota. The meal was excellent and it was a super way to celebrate away from our families. Pour célébrer l’arrivée de 2011, nous avons assisté à la descente de l’ananas au centre-ville de Sarasota au milieu de 25,000 personnes et heureusement, la météo était plutôt favorable. Alors, tel que promis voici en images l’ambiance des Fêtes dans le sud. Nous sommes allés au Marie Selby Botanical Gardens au centre-ville de Sarasota où se tenait une exposition de lumières pour la saison. Il y avait chants et chorale d’enfants que l’on pouvait entendre tout en marchant dans les sentiers illuminés. Ce fut une soirée idéale sans vent et température plus que clémente, comment ne pas se mettre dans l’atmosphère, la seule chose manquante un tapis de neige artificielle, la vraie on vous la laisse.
