Way back when....August, 2012.... Lulu became a permanent member of our blog. For those of you who have not been formally introduced to her, let me do her presentation. For those of you who have known her forever and have made her your friend; hang tight. Now, please meet Lulu! It all began when we left on our big adventure to traverse the United States (2012). We only made it to Texas but that was all documented in our previous blogs. Because I like to record our events through photographs, I needed a subject to star in my pictures. Our beloved dog, Chip, had always been my prime subject. He was so wonderful. After his death, I knew I had to find something or someone who could perform as well as dear Chip. Cory occasionally condescends to my requests but sometimes he rebels. So, here comes Lulu. She was so eager and willing and NEVER fusses or refuses to pose. She was found amongst our collectibles out in one of our storage areas.... on a shelf with two other "sisters". Why I selected her.....not sure.....must have been something that caught my eye. She is an eye- catcher, for sure. Initially, she had long, flowing hair....beautiful. It was a lot to keep styled so out came my scissors. Chop, Chop.....now her hair style was manageable. Not a good cut....I am far from being a cosmetologist (Great Clips would never hire me). Again, sweet Lulu never complained. So she was quickly hired and adopted. She has been in many states and points of interest. Don't you think she brings the photos to life? You can almost picture yourself right next to her.....and many of you have done just that! She is so happy to be a part of your day when she can show up in full regalia when you check into our blog. Below is the first blog that I wrote that presented her majesty, LULU. After the blog are various photos that Lulu has starred in. Beautiful....and always with a smile. Can't help but love her! If you are ever really, really bored, have absolutely nothing to do, ready to zone out, want to lose yourself in babble-land, willing to burn your eyes out - you can read all of our past blogs. When you bring up our travel blog page, up in the top right hand corner section is a search box. Type in " Sandy and Cory blog " and then hit the search "flashlight" . It will bring you to a page that lists various info about us and the blogs. Hitting on the first topic section listed brings up the page where you can go to locate ALL (178) of our blogs. What a ball of fun that will be......YAWN! Do it at your own risk....if your eyes burn out, remember I told you so. LULU Blog - Published: August 9th 2012

Pennsylvania August 9th 2012 LULU. Fancy Lady Wonderful! From our comment box I am able to see that more of you have figured out how to log onto this crazy site and follow us along the way. I am trying to get this site on Facebook...it might get there, it might not. FYI: we have picked up a passenger who will be traveling with us. She is a fancy lady and she says her name is Lulu. I always say: the more the merrier! We are on Rt. 90 in PA. Rain stopped but cloudy. For those of you who missed my earlier blogs, this is our story in a nutshell:We are traveling across USA to California and hopefully British Columbia, Canada. An unexpected event happened so we are taking a side trip to Red Bay, Alabama where our RV was made. When driving around in our backyard, Cory accidentally rammed into the church next door. The church came out unscathed but RV was damaged in the back end so we are getting it repaired at Red Bay. We have no idea as to the time frame we will have so we shall just travel around in the area in our car while RV is being fixed. We plan to be home by Oct. 19th for Cory's 50th class reunion. Glad you have joined us...no matter where the road may take us.
