Coffee Hour at Tropical Palms
The last of the coffee clatchers....Diane, Walt, Cory, Sam, Sandy....Lulul It's that time...the beginning of the end of our enjoyable winter retreat. Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday when we were pulling into our site with our crunched side compartment. Diane's sign hung on the palm tree greeting and guiding us into site 310. Hooray...we had arrived! Tuesday, we had our last "long-termer's" morning coffee clatch. Only one table was set up but it had the best of friends at it. There were six of us: Sam & Sandy, Walt & Diane, Cory and me......and Lulu. This is the same loyal group of friends who have remained together from beginning to end and beyond. We have been so fortunate to have found such great friends so far away from home. Friends Forever....no matter where we are. We continued our weekly tradition with our final Wednesday night Lobsterfest at the Orlando Ale House. Our ritual toast was strong and sincere. THERE ARE GOOD SHIPS AND WOOD SHIPS BUT THE BEST SHIPS ARE FRIENDSHIPS! Not wanting the evening to end, we topped it off with delicious, yummy desserts at the Marketside Restaurant in Celebration. What an indulgence.....above board all the way. Going out with a bang .....and a big Our Friends
Sandy & Sam, Walt & Diane, Craig & Sandy, Jon belly bulge! We all agreed we would add this treat to our next year's farewell ritual. Tomorrow we say our final good-byes. It's been a great time and we are already looking forward to our return next year. Stay well, Good Friends....until we meet again! We shall miss you!
