Another day in Paradise

Decided to stay at Fernandina Beach another day. Rentedbikes and rode to the beach and also to a Civil War fort called Fort Clinch. WE went off the road for a while and rode through the woods. Signs said be careful of the aligators but we did not see any. Had the bikes for four hours and brought them back 10 min late. No extra charge. Had a few beers in town and now getting ready to take off early to head toward St Augustine. Hope to be ther on Tuesday. Then on to Daytona.

The weather is better where you are
We have just had three days of solid rain, then Sat. was cloudy and only yesterday the sun was out. The weather yesterday could have been summer, but I doubt that anyone here was swimming or lounging by the pool. You made the trip south more quickly than I had expected. But of course it is not over. Are you going to the Bahamas?

St Agustine tomorrow
We made pretty good time but got about four days behind by waiting out storms at anchor in Georgia. I'm heading to the Keys first and then decide on the Bahamas
