We experienced the Everglades several ways. We couldn't identify what was in this heron's beak - what a time the bird was having getting his lunch under control. Whatever the critter was; it was tough!

Everglades - Air Boat
Sorry, we only took about an hour tour in the Everglades by Airboat - we went out with a Native American Company located near the entrance to the Shark Valley tower. We loved it; but an hour was perfect for us.
