Made it to D.C. Since flying first class I had planned on sitting quietly in United Club lounge like I did the last time I flew internationally. Unfortunately times have changed. The place was very crowded. Lots of children and babies. The noise from the bar/kitchen reminded me of a diner. So much for quiet reflection. At least the light appetizers and non alcoholic drinks were free. Grabbed some fruit and cheese.

Update: as I was leaving United club I am receptionist if this was the only one. Apparently they were two more closer to my gate. So I went to the last one that's closest to my gate. It was almost empty. So much better. Relax and meditate for a while.
