I spent the last day of 2012 exploring my new city, and, when the evening came, we still had no plans for New Year ’s Eve. After several unsuccessful attempts to have a reservation in a restaurant, we found a table in a restaurant/bar/nightclub just around the corner. It turned out it was a gay venue and our family was the only straight people around.

I'm a 23 year old kiddo who decided to take a gap year after my graduation to travel the world. After quite some hesitation, I decided to travel to Brazil.
