Greetings from DC!

(Knock on wood)...We've had GREAT travel weather so far! We arrived today in DC around 2:30 and were able to see some of this gorgeous city - including the White House, Capitol Building etc. We booked a hotel right downtown, grabbed some lunch and a beer at a cool Brewery. Ate some dinner downtown as well, but we're back to the hotel to catch up on some much needed sleep to rest up for a long day tomorrow! We plan on hitting some museums in the morning before we hit the road on the way to Lexington (?)...still not sure which city we are going to stop in, but Lexington is looking like the winner so far on the way to St. Louis. Miss everybody so much but we are having a blast! 😊
