Denver seems to like us, as she has dumped over a foot of snow in the past 24 hours in a vain attempt to keep us here. Fear not, dear readers, for we shall not be thwarted by mere slush. Do we not hail from Alaska and Montana? We come from hardy stock indeed (thanks mom and dad).

So early tomorrow we will be on our way, off on our big adventure, the Bear and Button show extraordinaire. Are you ready? I hope so, because you are going to be amazed at the “awesometisity” of it all.

Till we arrive in warmer lands…. Danielle (& Oliver)

hello!
Hi you two, the photos are great, (love the old boat and those birds are beautiful) how long will you be Ecuador? I have a friend, Lisa Schmidter who is leaving with her family on Dec 30 to head to Ecuador, and then the Galopodos (spelling) Islands for 5.5 months, they will be helping a group, doing volunteer work on the Islands, she wondered if they could meet up with you? they have traveled extensively in Central and South America, they spend part of each winter there, home school their kids so it works well for them (they have 3 school age girls). They ususally get involved in some volunteer project usually with a green or humanitarian bent to it. Lisa is super cool, don't know her husband Chris that well. I spent two and half hours in her hot tub with Molly too and it was below zero, but still very comfortable because the hot tub was soooooooooooo hot! But how are you guys, weren't you going to do a volunteer project in Ecuador? How is that going? Oliver did you ever get cards or something to give/send to those you two got for Xmas? Someway to notify them, that the presents are coming later....or whatever you planned for that? We are finally getting some winter here, last few days its been 10 to 15 below at night, and about the same above during the day. Only a small amount of snow on the ground, and the house I built for the goats collasped with the first 1/2 inch of snow!! :( So I will have to change that accordingly. Cats and dogs doing well. Elijah is doing a swing at Beluga, so will not be home for Thanksgiving, but hopefully for Xmas. Still working to get my heater fixed on the truck, today should do it, and it will be so nice..........I brought myself a new winter coat, I don't remember when I did that last, but I really needed one!! That little green one was just to thin for real cold, even with my vest under it. I am doing well myself, and hope this finds both you well and enjoying your adventure. Take care and enjoy, Love MOM/Lee
